Sightseeing

Everyone knows, those who travel around usually do have something interesting to talk about, but one thing is for sure, spending your holidays in Lechbruck will certainly give you plenty to chat about. Visit King Ludwig’s II fairy-tale Castles “Neuschwanstein and Linderhof” or Hohenschwangau where he spent his childhood, all are situated close to Lechbruck and well worth seeing. The romantic town of Füssen invites you to stay a while, browse around the shops or sip a coffee in the pedestrian precinct and watch the world go by. Just a few minutes away by car is the world’s famous pilgrimage rococo Wies church. This is an UNESCO world heritage site,  a must to see! The Roman towns of Kaufbeuren , Kempten, Augsburg and Landsberg or even Munich, the capital of Bavaria, are within easy reach and make a fantastic day trip out. On a clear day a trip to the top of mount Tegel by Schwangau offers a fantastic view, you can see for miles. On the way back to Lechbruck why not stop off at Lake Forggen and take a ride on one of the pleasure boats. Lechbruck, the heart and soul of a good holiday, there is so much worth seeing. Why not give it a go!
