Our Churches
A place of worship
Churches and monasteries embedded in a wonderful landscape. No two the same. Historical buildings from the Rocco, early classic Baroque period, all with elaborate interiors, invite you to spend a quiet moment.
Catholic Church "Mariä Heimsuchung"
Our Catholic Church “Maria Heimsuchung” proudly stands right in the middle of Lechbruck and can be seen from afar. The building was first erected in 1786 in an early classicism style. The painting on the ceiling and the side alters are really something to admire.
Himmelfahrts Church
The protestant church „Himmelfahrt“ is situated near the river. Services take place every Sunday at 9:30 am.
St. Wendelin Church
St. Wendelin’s Church was built in the 17th century and is situated on the outskirts of our village. The annual Wendelin’s procession takes place in October. Here you can admire over 100 horses and their riders. Unfortunately the church is not open for public viewing only upon request.
Wies Church
A pilgrimage church designed by Dominikus Zimmermannbuilt between 1743 and 1757."Hoc loco habitat fortuna, hic quiescit cor." (In this place abideth happiness, here the heart findeth peace).
