Below you will find a list of various routes which are suitable for either walking or cycling. Some have been awarded the           "Allgäu Tirol Barrierefrei“ certificate. Enjoy the country-side in and around Lechbruck with limited mobility.

Steam Locomotive Circular-Tour

Cycling and walking route

This tour takes you along the old steam locomotive tracks from Lechbruck, Marktoberdorf to Kaufbeuren and back. All in all it is 82 km long but if that is too much for you short cuts on route are possible.

Cycle track „Hills and Lakes“

This tour begins in Lechbruck or Roßhaupten and is 18 km long. The altitude rises slowly by approx. 150 m and part of it when starting in Lechbruck runs along the steam engine track route heading towards Sameister. In Roßhautpen the route then heads back to Lechbruck via Tiefenbruck and Helmenstein.

Lech Adventure Trail

The route along the Lechbruck side of the river is for people with limited mobility (wheelchair, walking frame, push chairs etc.) ideal. It is 2 km long and it is partly tarmacked or a little bit stony.

Pfaffenwinkel Milk Route

(Distance from Lechbruck: approx.  15 km)

The route is 4,2 km long and has 10 interactive stations. It is ideal for every age group and easily accessible with a pushchair, walking frame or a wheelchair.
