The once thriving rafters’ village has developed over the past years into a lively village with craftsmanship, various businesses and friendly Hosts.
In the good old days the inhabitants knew that their village was situated in a very good position, namely 757 a.m.s.l., bordering between “Oberbayern” and southern “Ostallgäu“ and situated directly on the banks of river Lech. Journeys to Augsburg and Budapest meant that our fore fathers were worldly and open minded people. Even though Lechbruck has a very historical background it has developed into a ”holiday wonderland” with everything the holidaymaker could wish for.
