During your holiday there are numerous opportunities for you take a refreshing dip in one of the many picturesque lakes in our region. Admire the reflections of the majestic grey mountains or the colour of the water ranging from deep saphire blue to glittering green. There are many lakes in our area some of the well known ones are: Forggen, Bannwald, Hopfen, Alat, Schwann and Alp. Our own manmade lake Lech invites you to take a refreshing dip, to surf or sail. The water can be a little bit cold and not very deepin some places at times. If the sun doesn’t shine for a while then you can visit one of the many swimming baths, fun baths or thermal baths in our region. Why not enjoy the water from a different angle by taking a ride on a pleasure boat. Boats run on lakes Forggen, Heiterwang with Plan and Staffel.
